Welcome to the Bergkristall, our family-owned four star hotel in the Wildschönau. We, the Thalers, run this place in the third generation. We love what we do: Welcoming guests that may leave as friends. Together with our staff we want to make your holiday a relaxing, inspiring and indulgent experience. The Bergkristall is located amidst the Kitzbühel Alps, surrounded by mountains ans nature. This venue, combined with attention to detail and Tyrolian kindness make the Bergkristall feel like home to our guests. We're looking forward to welcoming you soon!

Food

Chef Thomas Thaler runs the Bergkristall's kitchen since winter 2019. He is responsible for the four course evening dinners in our restaurant and creates feel-good-dishes by combining regional, seasonal produce with a modern culinary approach.

Prices

Book directly - get the best price! Why? Booking websites charge commission, which ceases if you book directly on our Website or via E-Mail. And for that, we want to thank you, by guaranteeing the best price. We make our calculations responsibly and try to keep our prices, but every now and then we have to bring them into line if economy or taxes change. All prices are including taxes, not included is the local tourism fee of € 3,50 per person and night (from 15. years on).

Reservation & Payment

For every binding reservation at the Bergkristall, you'll get a confirmation via E-Mail. Your bill can be paid in cash, via debit card, Visa or Master Card at the end of your stay. There might be waiting times on departure days - to avoid those, you also can settle your bill the before.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-In: from 3:00 pm
Check-Out: until 10:30 am

after prior agreement: Early Check-In
Before 15:00 o'clock on arrival day: luggage deposit, dressing room, breakfast, usage of the spa facilities. € 25,- per person

after prior agreement: Late Check-Out
After 10:30 am on departure day: luggage deposit, dressing room, Skier's Snack (Winter), usage of the spa facilities. € 25,- per person

Water

Our tap water is not just drinkable, it's particularly precious. A mountain spring located ca. 1200 uphill from the Bergkristall belongs to our house. The impeccable quality of our fresh mountain water is under the strict control of the Bezirkshauptmannschaft Kufstein, our regional administration.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome after prior agreement. We request a service charge of € 15,- per day, without feeding, and reserve our rights to charge an extensive cleaning service at the end of your stay (only if necessary). We also ask you to bring a basket or blanket for your dog.

Discounts in a shared bedroom (with two people paying the full price):


up to 8 years:	50%
9 to 12 years:	25%
13 to 99 years:	10%

Additional fees:

Dogs:
€ 15,- per pet and night, without feeding

Surcharge for short stays:
3 nights - € 10,- pppn
2 nights - € 15,- pppn
1 night - € 20,- pppn

Cancellation policy:


up to 7 days prior arrival:	90% of the total price
up to 14 days prior arrival:	70% of the total price
up to 30 days prior arrival:	40% of the total price

In case of "no show" or early departure we charge 100% of the total price.
